Sept. 20 National Rankings; LSU-Syracuse on ESPN

BATON ROUGE — Coming off its 45-21 victory over then-No. 18 Auburn on Saturday, the LSU football team vaulted five spots in the national rankings released Sunday.

No. 8 LSU (2-0, 2-0 SEC) travels to take on undefeated Syracuse (3-0) on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT at the Carrier Dome. The game will be televised by ESPN, it was announced Sunday morning.
