BATON ROUGE – LSU softball would like to thank the fans for establishing a Tiger Park record of 5,923 for a three-game series during its weekend sweep over No. 1 Alabama. It marked the first time since 2004, a run of 57 series when LSU also accomplished the feat, that the Crimson Tide lost all three games of a weekend series.

Fans can relive every moment of the series highlighted by both walkoff home runs by SEC Player of the Week Anissa Young along with a pair of stellar performances from SEC Pitcher of the Week Brittany Mack.

After a Wednesday contest at McNeese State, LSU returns home for a pivotal weekend series with SEC co-leader No. 9 Tennessee. Friday’s series opener is set for 6 p.m. followed by game two Saturday at 11 a.m. televised by ESPN2 and Sunday’s series finale is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Tiger Park Ticket Booth opens 90 minutes prior to first pitch each day and fans can purchase tickets on-site starting at $5 for adult general admission. Tickets also can be purchased online at www.LSUtix.net.
