Softball's Alabama Series Promotional Schedule
BATON ROUGE – Free general admission seating to Saturday’s game highlights a fun-filled weekend of promotions and events when No. 1 Alabama heads to Tiger Park this weekend for a key SEC Western Division battle.
The first 1,000 fans attending Friday’s series opener at 6 p.m. receive a commemorative LSU softball glass. It also serves as the second of two “Student Point Games” in which students earn priority points based on their attendance at LSU athletic events that can be used to help with ticket priority for future games.
Leading into Saturday’s middle game at 6 p.m., the Tigers will celebrate “Family Day” at the ballpark. Reserved seats are sold out for this game, but free general admission seating in sections 101 and 107 will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis along with seating on the berm in left field.
Fans are encouraged to wear gold for the annual “Gold Game” for Sunday’s series finale at 1 p.m. televised by ESPNU. As part of SEC weekends, fans will be able to keep all foul balls during the three-game series.
Live audio and live stats for all three games will be available in the Geaux Zone on LSUsports.net in addition to being carried live on ESPN 104.5 FM with Patrick Wright and Kent Lowe calling the action.
The Tiger Park Ticket Booth opens 90 minutes prior to first pitch on Friday and Sunday. Fans can purchase tickets on-site starting at $5 for adult general admission. Tickets also are available online at www.LSUtix.net.
