The lot will open at 8 a.m. on game day and specific spaces are on a first-come first-serve basis. Concession stands and restrooms will be open at the new Alex Box Stadium on game days. Passes in the lot range from $40-$75 per game. Permits purchased within the week of each game will be held for pickup at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office located in the LSU Athletic Administration Building. Permits are currently available for all 2010 home games.

Free Public Parking

  • Fans arriving close to game time are encouraged to park in the following lots:
  • Levee Lots – River Road
  • Hayfield Lot – Gourrier Lane;
  • Kirby Smith and Band Practice Field – Aster Street
  • The Oaks – Burbank at Nicholson Drive

Additional free public parking is available across the east side of campus; however, these areas reach capacity quickly due to tailgating.  Traffic will be routed to the public parking lots listed above when these areas reach capacity.

RV/Motorhome Parking
RV parking permits for the 2010 season are sold out.  No RV’s are allowed on campus without a valid RV parking permit.

Handicap Parking – It’s Free
Free individual game handicap parking is conveniently located in Lot M between the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and the Dub Robinson Tennis Courts, north of Tiger Stadium. There are a limited number of spaces available. This area is available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 7 a.m. CT on game days. The lot is accessible by presenting a valid state-issued handicap parking permit and/or valid handicap drivers’ license to the traffic officers on site. The handicapped individual must be in the vehicle when entering the lot.  LSU will operate its handicap shuttle service from Lot M to Tiger Stadium on game day.  Drop-off and postgame pickup is on North Stadium Drive.

New for 2010 – Lot O Grass Area on Nicholson Drive
A portion of the grass parking area adjacent to the game day reserved parking Lot O will be reserved for the 2010 Football season.  This area, formerly free public parking, will be reserved for permitted individuals relocated due to construction within the Bernie Moore Track Stadium.  The south portion of this grass area will be reserved, leaving the north portion open for public parking.

For the 2011 Football season this entire grass area will be reserved permit parking on game days. Season ticket holders interested in purchasing a permit for this area should join the 2011 Football Parking Waitlist which will open in January of 2011 on LSUtix.net.  All reserved parking permits are distributed to season ticket holders by the LSU Philanthropic Priority Point Ranking System.

Shuttle Buses for Home Games
Bus shuttle service to LSU football games will be in operation this season utilizing First Transit buses.
LSU is contracted with First Transit to run its traditional football gameday shuttle bus routes from Westmoreland Shopping Center and from Farr Park. Also, LSU will operate its handicap shuttle service from Lot M near the LSU tennis courts to Tiger Stadium on game day. Round-trip tickets for the Westmoreland and Farr Park locations will be $20.  Shuttle service from the handicap lot is complimentary. Westmoreland and Farr Park shuttle passes must be purchased prior to the day of the game on LSUtix.net.  Walk-ups will not be accepted. The Farr Park Shuttle runs two hours prior to kickoff, while the Westmoreland Shuttle begins running 4 hours prior to kickoff.

CATS Touch Down Express
The Capital Area Transit System (CATS) will operate at downtown shuttle this year – Touch Down Express. Touch Down Express consists of three separate routes that will provide continuous service, beginning three hours prior to game kickoff, and ending one hour after the game ends. The shuttle service is only $1.75 each way ($3.50 round trip). Season passes are also available until Sept. 25 for $24.50, and includes 15 adult rides. Individuals can park and board the Touch Down Express Shuttle at the following three locations for all LSU home football games:
