Football Jumps to No. 12 in Coaches Poll; 15th in AP

BATON ROUGE — LSU jumped four spots to No. 12 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, which was released on Sunday morning.

LSU is one of six SEC teams in the top 20, joining No. 1 Alabama, No. 7 Florida, No., 13 Arkansas, No. 15 Auburn, and No. 16 South Carolina. The Tigers are coming off a dominating 27-3 win over Vanderbilt last night in Nashville.

LSU returns to action on Saturday, hosting Mississippi State in the home opener at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
