BATON ROUGE — LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri encourages all Fighting Tiger fans to support LSU Press during its current “Buy A Book” campaign.

LSU Press, which has published a wide range of significant titles for 75 years, has undertaken an initiative to compensate for funding reductions to higher education. The goal is to sell 10,000 books by June 1.

More information about the campaign may be found at this link: http://www.lsu.edu/lsupress/buyabook.html.

“LSU Press has been a vital part of our university for 75 years, and I fully endorse its efforts to continue its publishing at the highest level,” Mainieri said. “I encourage everyone who loves LSU and loves books to support this campaign.”

LSU Press has several LSU sports books in its catalog, including:

Call Me Coach by Paul Dietzel
