Faulk Named to Patriots' All-Decade Team

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots recently announced the 27 members of its 2000s All-Decade Team. Carencro native and former Louisiana State star Kevin Faulk was selected to the team comprised of the greatest Patriots from the franchise’s most successful decade.

Players selected to the 2000s All-Decade team represent a combined 37 Pro Bowl appearances and all but four of the members earned Super Bowl Championships with the Patriots.

Faulk, chosen as the kick returner on the All-Decade Team, has played his entire 11-season NFL career with the Patriots after being drafted in the second round (46th overall) of the 1999 NFL Draft out of LSU. He was a member of each of the Patriots’ three Super Bowl championship teams. Faulk is the Patriots’ all-time leader in kickoff returns (181) and kickoff return yards (4,098).

The All-Decade Team was selected by the New England Patriots Hall of Fame Nomination Committee, a 22-person panel made up of reporters, alumni and staff.
