GameDay Xtra Video: Charles Scott with Amanda Joseph
Last week in LSU’s 26-21 win over Auburn, Tiger running back Charles Scott became the first player in school history to rush for 100 yards in a game at Auburn. Scott finished with 132 rushing yards in the LSU win and was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for his performance against Auburn.
Now ranked first in the league and No. 7 in the nation in rushing yards per game, Scott is off to one of the best starts in school history for a running back with 394 yards and four touchdowns during LSU’s first three games.
LSUsports.net’s Amanda Joseph, a former Golden Girl and 2007 Miss Louisiana, caught up with Scott this week to talk about a variety of topics, including last week’s win over Auburn as well as getting some insight to what the running back did during the offseason that has helped him get off to such a quick start this year.
