Annual 'Tigerama' Concert to Help Build New Band Hall
BATON ROUGE — The annual fall Tigerama spectacular will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The concert, featuring the LSU Tiger Band, Golden Girls, Colorguard, Drumline, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds, will begin at 8 p.m.
For the first time in more than 20 years of Tigerama there will be a special VIP cocktail reception, in addition to Tigerama, to benefit the “Band Together” campaign to build a new band hall at LSU. There is a limited opportunity to purchase tickets for the reception, which will include hors d’oeuvres and photo opportunities with the Golden Girls and the Mike the Tiger mascot.
A silent auction will be held featuring a framed Golden Girls uniform, a signed canvas titled “Down the Hill” by artist R.C. Davis and a unique purple and gold stone ring, among other valuable items.
The pre-concert VIP reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the PMAC concourse. Tickets are $50 per adult and $25 per child with nominal online processing fees. Preferred parking and seating will be reserved for VIPs and their children.
Tickets can be purchased at www.lsusports.net.
For individuals unable to attend Tigerama or the VIP reception who would like to donate to the LSU Band Hall Project, visit www.friendsofthelsutigerband.org for more information. All proceeds will go toward the “Band Together” campaign to build a new, state-of-the-art facility for the Golden Band from Tigerland.
