Southbound Post-Game Traffic Route Adjusted

BATON ROUGE — An adjustment has been made to post-game traffic routes for LSU football games that should alleviate some of the problems experienced by southbound travelers after last week’s LSU win over Virginia Tech.  This change goes into effect immediately.

All traffic going east bound on Brightside Drive will be directed to turn south onto Nicholson Drive.

It is important for fans to know that vehicles will not be allowed to cross Nicholson Drive onto West Lee Drive at the Brightside Drive intersection.

Both lanes of traffic on Nicholson Drive are now flowing one-way southbound after football games beginning at Brightside Drive.  With all traffic on Brightside directed to Nicholson Drive, traffic on River Road and Skip Bertman Drive should flow more readily to the south.
