Gymnastics Takes Preseason Training to the River
BATON ROUGE ? The LSU gymnastics team took a break from the practice gym last week when they headed to the Mississippi River levee for a two-mile jog as part of its preseason training regimen.
The Tigers are currently in their preseason cycle of training that allows just eight hours of training time each week. Many of those hours are dedicated to strength training and conditioning that are directed by LSU assistant strength and conditioning coach Earl Chevalier.
