NCAA Super Regional to be Broadcast on 107.3 FM

BATON ROUGE — The LSU Sports Radio Network, a division of LSU Sports Properties, has announced that Friday and Saturday’s NCAA Super Regional softball series between LSU and Arizona State will now be broadcast on Country Legends 107.3 FM instead of the normal softball affiliates of 104.5/104.9 FM.

The station, the flagship of the LSU women’s basketball team, will allow more fans the opportunity to listen to the late-night series being played in Tempe, Ariz. The series begins Friday night at 9 p.m. CDT with Patrick Wright and Kent Lowe on the call with the second game scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CDT on Saturday with a third “if necessary” game set for 9 p.m. Saturday.

There will be no live or tape delay television of the Super Regional. The winner of the best two-of-three will advance to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma Series beginning May 31.

The games will also be available for subscribers of the Geaux Zone at LSUsports.net.
