BATON ROUGE — LSU head coach Les Miles will embark on his annual speaking tour to meet the fans of Tiger football across the region, and will be joined by other LSU personalities, when the LSU Tiger Tour 2007 begins next week.
The LSU Tiger Tour 2007 is a joint effort of the Tiger Athletic Foundation, the LSU Foundation and the LSU Alumni Association.
The tour will include speaking appearances at various locations with LSU men’s basketball coach John Brady , Tiger baseball coach Paul Mainieri, Lady Tiger softball coach Yvette Girouard and new women’s basketball coach Van Chancellor.
The LSU Tiger Tour 2007 begins in Alexandria at the Riverfront Center on May 9, followed by stops in Lafayette at the Cajundome Convention Center on May 10, Shreveport/Bossier City at the Horseshoe Casino on May 14, Monroe at the Civic Center on May 15, Birmingham at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center on May 21, and Pensacola at the Hilton Garden Pensacola Beach on May 23.
The tour will continue in June in Baton Rouge at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on June 5, Covington/Mandeville at Benedict’s of Mandeville on June 7, Jackson (Miss.) at the Country Club of Jackson on June 12, and Morgan City at the Morgan City Auditorium on June 14.
The tour will conclude in July with stops at Houston at the J.W. Marriott on July 18, Lake Charles at the Isle of Capri Casino on July 19 and New Orleans at the Riverfront Hilton on July 22.
