BATON ROUGE — LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell is the cover story in Thursday’s edition of the USAToday.
The feature on the junior Tiger quarterback in written by Kelly Whiteside as the daily nationwide newspaper previews Saturday’s matchup between sixth-ranked LSU and third-ranked Auburn.
In two games this year, Russell has completed 26 of 37 passes for 449 yards and five touchdowns. Russell, who is 16-2 as LSU’s starting quarterback, ranks third in the nation in pass efficiency with a 211.4 rating.
