BATON ROUGE — LSU All-America safety LaRon Landry and quarterback JaMarcus Russell have been named to the SI.com list of top 10 players in the Southeastern Conference, the website announced.
LSU and Florida are the only teams in the league with two players named to the top 10 list. Florida is represented by quarterback Chris Leak at No. 5 and linebacker Brandon Siler at No. 8.
Landry is ranked No. 6 on the list of top 10 players, while Russell came in at No. 9.
Georgia defensive end Quentin Moses is ranked No. 1 by SI.com, followed by Ole Miss linebacker Patrick Willis at No. 2, and Auburn running back Kenny Irons at No. 3.
