Miles' 'LSU Tigers Tour 2005' to Stop in Thibodaux
BATON ROUGE — The LSU Tiger Tour 2005 featuring LSU head coach Les Miles will stop in Thibodaux on Thursday for an event hosted by the Tri-Parish Tigers at the Thibodaux Civic Center.
The LSU Tiger Tour 2005, underwritten by Cox Sports Television and Eagle 98.1 in Baton Rouge, is sponsored by the Tiger Athletic Foundation, and includes speaking appearances by LSU athletics director Skip Bertman and Tiger Athletic Foundation CEO Major General Ron Richard.
The Thibodaux event will start at 7 p.m. and doors will open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and tables range from $350 to $2,500. The event will feature silent auction items and a door prize, and is complete with a dinner buffet and cash bar.
Miles has embarked a 14-city regional tour through Louisiana and Mississippi, to meet Tiger fans, including eight cities on the LSU Tiger Tour 2005 and six cities for the LSU Alumni Association.
Early stops on the LSU Tiger Tour 2005 have been May 4 in Lafayette, May 5 in Alexandria, May 12 in Jackson and May 19 in Covington. The final stops will be July 24 in New Orleans at the New Orleans Hilton and July 27 in Lake Charles at the Isle of Capri Casino.
The LSU Alumni Association events have taken place in LaPlace on May 16, in Monroe on May 24, and Minden on May 26. Future Alumni events will be in Shreveport on June 8 at East Ridge Country Club, in Baton Rouge on June 14 at the Lod Cook Alumni Center, and in Gulfport, Miss., on June 15 at the Grand Casino Gulfport.
