Three Marketing Department Ads Up for National Awards
BATON ROUGE — Three of LSU’s marketing department campaigns are finalists for a 2004-05 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Awards.
The season ticket campaign “It’s Hoops Time” is a finalist for the season ticket sales campaign, the advertisement “Tastes Like Turkey” is a finalist for the single newspaper display ad, and the promotion “Bald is Beautiful Night” is a finalist for the targeted group promotion.
Each category has three finalists that will be publicly recognized on June 15 during the annual NACMA Convention in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The winners in each category will also be announced at the awards ceremony.
“It’s Hoops Time” was used for the 2004-05 men’s basketball season ticket campaign, while the ad “Tastes Like Turkey” featured Glen Davis of the men’s basketball team.
The promotion “Bald is Beautiful Night” was used during the 2004 baseball season.
