Sunday is Championship Day on Cox Sports Television

BATON ROUGE — LSU fans can enjoy a day full of Tiger athletics on Sunday as Cox Sports Television will televise 10 hours of some of LSU’s accomplishments from last year, including an encore presentation of the win over Georgia to claim the Southeastern Conference Title in football.

LSU’s Championship Sunday on Cox Sports Television starts at 1 p.m. with the re-airing of the baseball team’s win over the College of Charleston in the finals of the NCAA Regional at Alex Box Stadium.

That will be followed by the 2004 LSU Football Recruiting Special from 4 to 5 p.m. and then the airing of “We Are The Champions – A Tiger Celebration” for the next hour.

At 6 p.m. Cox Sports will televise the 2003 LSU football season video titled “Victory for LSU”, which leads into the encore presentation of LSU’s 34-13 win over Georgia in the Georgia Dome to claim the conference title.

Finally, the day is capped with Cox Sports Television’s preview of the 2004 football season titled “Defending a Championship”.
