Former Tiger Wyatt Signs with the Houston Texans
BATON ROUGE — Another member of LSU’s 2003 national championship team has signed with an NFL team as defensive tackle Bryce Wyatt inked a free agent deal with the Houston Texans on Friday.
Wyatt, who prepped at Barbe High School in Lake Charles, La., played in all 14 games for the Tigers in 2003 with six starts. He finished the season with 28 tackles, including 2.5 for losses.
In four years with the Tigers, Wyatt played in 35 games with seven starts. He capped his LSU career by appearing in four bowl games and he finished with 52 tackles and a pair of sacks.
Wyatt, who graduated from LSU last week with a degree in general studies, becomes the 14th member of the 2003 squad who is currently in an NFL camp.
