Day Three of WCWS Rained Out, Play to Resume Sunday at 9 a.m.
OKLAHOMA CITY — Day three of the 2004 Women’s College World Series has been postponed due to lightning and severe weather in the Oklahoma City area on Saturday evening.
The day’s third game between Oklahoma and Stanford has been halted. They will resume their game at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. At the end of five innings, the Sooners lead the Cardinal 2-1.
LSU’s elimination game against Florida State, originally schedule for 8 p.m., will be played on Sunday. Their first pitch will be 30 minutes after the completion of the Oklahoma-Stanford game.
