Limited-Edition Posters to Go On Sale at 10 a.m.
BATON ROUGE — Limited edition 2004 LSU Baseball posters will be on sale Saturday outside Alex Box Stadium beginning at 10 a.m. The posters, which are personally autographed by 11 of LSU’s top players, sell for $20 each.
A total of 3,000 posters will be available, and they can be purchased on Saturday in the West parking lot of Tiger Stadium at the intersection of South Stadium Drive and Nicholson Drive.
LSU and Vanderbilt will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. The poster sale will continue through Game 1 and conclude during the early portion of Game 2.
All posters must be purchased during the one-time sale on Saturday at the designated location. No posters will be sold through the LSU Athletics web site or by retail outlets.
Each poster must be personalized for the purchaser prior to the sale.
Purchases may be made by cash or checks only, with cash as the preferred payment method. All proceeds will benefit the LSU Baseball program.
The posters are autographed by the following players: outfielders Jon Zeringue, J.C. Holt and Ryan Patterson; infielders Clay Harris, Ivan Naccarata and Blake Gill; catcher Matt Liuzza; and pitchers Lane Mestepey, Jason Determann, Justin Meier and Nate Bumstead.
An enlarged replica of the poster is currently on display behind the third-base dugout in Alex Box Stadium.
Members of the LSU Baseball Coaches Committee may pick up their posters from a location near the Tigers’ squad room.
