Soccer Set to "Cram the Complex"
BATON ROUGE — The LSU soccer team will present what promises to be one of the most successful promotions in the program’s history when the Tigers play host to Georgia on Friday evening for “Cram the Complex”.
The highly-publicized promotion, conducted by the LSU Marketing and Promotions Department, will feature $2 admission for all fans and in addition, all LSU students, faculty and staff get in free with an ID card. Coupons redeemable for admission to the match will be included in an ad which will run in the Advocate on Thursday and Friday.
Numerous prizes will be given away including a Home Theater System with a Flat Screen TV, digital cameras, an a Charbroil BBQ grill. Fans can enter in several games to win prizes. A few of the games will be the “Flying Frenzy” in which participants will toss paper airplanes into a designated area to win the Home Theater System.
A Punt, Pass and Kick competition will be held as well as a “Longest Kick” competition where fans guess how long a certain kick is as well as a kid’s race for prizes.
The Tigers (8-4-1, 1-3 Southeastern Conference) will face Georgia on Friday at 7 p.m. LSU will wrap up the weekend with a match versus Tennessee on Sunday at 1 p.m.
