BATON ROUGE, La. – Week five of the NCAA South Central Regional cross country rankings saw little change for LSU as the Tigers remained at the No. 9 spot and the Lady Tigers are once again receiving votes in the polls released Thursday.
The top four spots in both the men’s and women’s rankings remain unchanged from a week ago as Arkansas leads both the men’s and women’s polls with 150 and 190 points, respectively, while Texas A&M (139), Texas (129) and Baylor (119) complete the men’s top four and Baylor (185), Texas A&M (166) and Texas (152) round out the top of the women’s standings.
In the No. 9 spot for the second straight, the Tigers have 70 points, while the Lady Tigers sit just outside the top 15, receiving votes with 8 points.
After taking last weekend off both the Tigers and Lady Tigers return to action tomorrow when they travel to Auburn, Ala. for the Auburn Invitational.
