BATON ROUGE — Former LSU standout Ronald Dupree got his professional basketball career off to a good start this week as a member of the Detroit Pistons.
In two preseason games, Dupree is averaging 9.5 points and 2.5 rebounds for the Pistons. Dupree scored 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting to go with four steals and one rebound in 17 minutes in a 100-96 loss to Cleveland on Tuesday.
A day later, Dupree scored nine points on 4-of-10 shooting to go with four rebounds and a pair of steals in 20 minutes of action in a 104-89 win over Boston.
Dupree and the rest of the Pistons return to action on Sunday as they host Toronto.
