Lady Tigers Duo to Begin Play at Riviera/ITA All-American
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Two Lady Tigers will begin play Thursday in the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships at the Riviera Tennis Club.
“To get to the main draw is a great honor,” said LSU head coach Tony Minnis. “It’s based on their play last year.”
Fantilli and Seaman were ranked 38th by ITA in their fall preseason poll.
“This is an opportunity for them to make a name for themselves,” Minnis said. “They are really looking forward to taking advantage of this opportunity. Teams who do well or win this tournament will be in the top four or five teams in the nation the next time rankings come out.”
Fantilli and Seaman have not competed together yet this fall.
