It's GameDay: LSU vs. Ole Miss, 7:30 p.m.
BATON ROUGE — On Senior Night in Tiger Stadium, the 20th-ranked LSU football team looks to complete the home schedule with a victory over their arch rival, the Ole Miss Rebels, and continue their march toward Atlanta in a 7:30 p.m. nationally televised contest on ESPN2.
Pregame live streaming audio of “The Voice of the Tigers” Jim Hawthorne, along with Doug Moreau, Jordy Hultberg and Kevin Ford begins at 6 p.m. right here on LSUsports.net. Click on the audio link from the broadcast schedule or under “Upcoming Events” on the homepage.
Kickoff is set for 7:42 p.m. CST.
The Tigers (7-3, 4-2 SEC) enter the contest in control of their Southeastern Conference destiny with two games remaining in the regular season. Should LSU win both, it woud finish 6-2 in conference and advance to face Eastern Division champion Georgia in the Georgia Dome at 5 p.m. on Dec. 7. An LSU loss coupled with an Auburn win today against Alabama would eliminate the Tigers from the championship game.
Ole Miss take a three-game Tiger Stadium winning streak into this year’s contest. The Rebels (5-5, 2-4 SEC) have been eliminated from the league race, however, they need at least one victory in their final two games against LSU and Mississippi State to have the chance at a bowl bid.
