CCLA Intercollegiate Postponed Due to Unplayable Conditions
BATON ROUGE — The 10th-annual Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday at the CCLA has been postponed due to the amount of heavy rain that the Baton Rouge area received over the past three days.
The tournament, one of two hosted by the LSU men’s golf team during the season, has not yet been rescheduled. LSU will also host the LSU Spring Invitational on Feb. 28-March 2 at the University Club.
“We had to make the decision to postpone the tournament because of all the rain that has fallen this weekend,” said LSU head coach Greg Jones. “The course was basically flooded and it would have been impossible to try and play.”
