Mauck, Webster Named LSWA Players of the Week
RUSTON, La. — A pair of LSU players swept this week’s Louisiana Sports Writers Association Player of the Week Awards following the Tigers impressive performance against the Florida Gators this past weekend in Gainesville.
Mauck led LSU to the 36-7 win over the Gators, completing 13 of 20 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. The Jasper, Ind., native also rushed 15 times for a career-high 67 yards with a long run of 27 yards and long completion of 39 yards. The sophomore signal caller has now thrown 88 consecutive passes without an interception.
