'Game On': LSU-ULL to Play as Scheduled

BATON ROUGE — LSU’s football game against Louisiana-Lafayette at 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium on Saturday is still on, Director of Athletics Skip Bertman said on Friday.

Due to heavy rain in Baton Rouge this week, portions of many of the grass lots on campus will not be available on Saturday. As of Friday, only 40 percent of the grass lots on LSU’s campus will be usable for the game. As a result, LSU officials are urging fans to car pool or take the shuttle bus system and to arrive as early as possible on campus.

Less than 250 tickets remain for the first contest between the Tigers and the Cajuns since 1938. The game is also being offered on TigerVision, LSU’s pay-per-view network.

Baton Rouge area subscribers of Cox Cable and Louisiana cable subscribers on systems outside the Baton Rouge area can order the TigerVision game. Subscribers must have a digital receiver in order to get the contest and the cost of the game is $34.50 per subscription.

In addition, Louisiana residents who have C-band satellite dish systems my order the game by calling (800) 887-8277. Those people with the Dish Network can order the game from their remote control on channel 455 on their system.
