Football Begins Preparations for Catamounts

BATON ROUGE — The LSU football team began its preparations for Western Carolina on Friday as the Tigers practiced for two hours in shorts and shoulder pads at the LSU Practice Fields.

The Tigers spent the first part of practice going through individual work and they then followed that with seven-on-seven drills. LSU also spent a portion of practice working against the scout squad.

The Tigers practice again on Saturday afternoon and will then take Sunday off before returning to the practice field on Monday.

Tickets for LSU’s season opener against Western Carolina on Sept. 2 are still on sale at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office.

Due to Western Carolina returning 6,500 of the 7,000 tickets allotted to the school, prices for those tickets have been reduced to $10 for LSU students, faculty and staff members. LSU students, faculty and staff members can purchase the $10 tickets with a valid LSU ID at the Ticket Office.
