After starring at Baton Rouge High School and earning All-America honors at LSU, Jim Taylor became one of the greatest players in Green Bay Packer history. He was a member of four Packer NFL championship teams and became Green Bay’s all-time leading rusher. He was the first player in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in five straight seasons. The 1962 NFL Most Valuable Player when he led the league in rushing, he was named All-Pro six times, was named to the NFL 1960s All-Decade Team and was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame. He closed out his career with the expansion New Orleans Saints.
