Champions of LSU Athletics Bengal Belles

25 Years of Support
1996 – 2021

We have exciting changes as we celebrate our Silver Year Anniversary. As you read about all the Bengal Belles has accomplished, be proud of our unique organization that you helped build, and our phenomenal success over 25 years.

The Bengal Belles was established in 1996 as a Louisiana State University Booster Club in support of the football program. Over the course of its existence, the organization has grown from a booster club for all athletes and a fundraising organization for the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes, to a service organization for many athletic related functions, and a social group for die-hard LSU fans. This growth has propelled us into a successful fundraising organization for the student-athlete, specifically providing resources for academics. The Bengal Belles have donated over $1.5 million since 1996 to the university, including over $182,000 in one year alone. The fundraising efforts go beyond the initial description of a booster club. Bengal Belles has proven to be a service organization and championed all student-athletes by donating an estimated 13% of all monies from LSU booster clubs. Now in 2021 the Belles have become more than a booster club with the tagline “Champions of LSU Athletics.”

“Champions of LSU Athletics” means that we are inclusive of all sports, and we champion all student-athletes. We are rebranding to appropriately identify ourselves as a service organization. Our members are the core of our successful foundation, both renewing and new memberships will continue to keep the legacy of Bengal Belles an empowering women’s organization who, for 25 years, have shown unwavering and unconditional support of all LSU student-athletes.

Over the years, Bengal Belles members have met and produced many friendships with current and former student-athletes. Laughter and interesting personal details and anecdotes from time spent at our luncheons is what makes being a Belle unique. Our team is committed to nurturing and challenging student-athletes to achieve their highest level of intellectual and personal development. Only YOU can keep our tradition going. This year will truly be a celebration! GEAUX TIGERS!
